PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz recently took to her Twitter account and posted a heartwarming message about the importance of moms on the fourth anniversary of the death of her mother, Kulsoom Nawaz.
Sharing a photo of the late former first lady, Maryam wrote: “On the 4th anniversary of the death of my dear friend, my message to those lucky enough to have their mothers around, is to appreciate while you have them because the pain of reaching for it hand and not finding it is the pain you can never be without May you rest in peace Friend.
Begum Kulsoom Nawaz died of cancer on September 11, 2018 in London. She had been undergoing treatment at the Harley Street Clinic in London since June 2017 and was placed on life support before her death as her health deteriorated.
Begum Kulsoom was born in 1950 and was the granddaughter of world famous weightlifter Ghulam Muhammad, known locally as Gaama Pahelwan.
