A Black Hawk helicopter crashed during a Taliban training exercise in the Afghan capital Kabul, killing three people, the group’s defense ministry said on Saturday.

“An American Black Hawk helicopter, which was flying (…) for training, crashed due to a technical problem inside the National Defense University campus,” said the door. – Ministry of Defense spokesman Enaytullah Khowrazmi, adding that five people were also injured.

The Taliban took control of some American-made aircraft after taking over the country just over a year ago. It is not known how many are operational.
